MAMMALIAN SKELETON – WELL EXPLAINED

The mammalian skeleton is divided into two:

Axial and appendicular.
Axial skeleton is made up of the skull and the vertebral column.
Appendicular skeleton is made up of the pelvic and pectoral girdles and limbs (hind limb and forelimbs).
