ICT GADGETS

ICT (Information and Communication technology) is an umbrella term that includes any communication, encompassing; radio, television, cellular phones, computer and network hardware and software, satellite systems and so on as well as the various services and applications associated with the much as video conferencing and distance learning.

ICT also refer to all the technology used to handle telecommunications, broadcast media, intelligent building management systems, audio Visual Processing and transmission systems, and network-based control and monitoring functions.

Gadgets and their importance in our lives

Gadgets are electronical application that makes work easy. They play a common role in the common man’s life.

  1. Gadgets increase our efficiency: These gadgets actually have increased human productivity in terms of work and made the world a better place to live in.
  2. A gadget brings joy to family: with the advent of web cam and other video accessories, staying away from family and friends is no longer painful. These gadgets can make distant things come near and makes human accessibility ver easy.
  3. They help in saving space: initially in the early years of telecommunication the wired handsets could be positioned at a prescribed position only for connectivity. With advent in technology, mobiles were invented that allowed users the freedom to access calls when moving around.
  4. Gadgets are fun – IPODS, music systems, video games, DVD and most important of all the popular TV needs no introduction as to how enjoyable they have made our lives.

  1. FAX (or Facsimile): Is a telecommunication technology used to transfer copies (Facsimilies) of documents especially using affordable devices operation over the telephones network, a device that can send or receive picture and text over a telephone line.
  2. TELEPHONE: is a telecommunications device that is used to transmit and receive electronically or digitally encoded sound (most commonly speech) between two or more people conversing.
  3. A MOBILE PHONE (GSM): (It is also called cell phone and headphone, as well as wireless phone, cellular phone, cell, cellular telephone, mobile telephone or cell telephone) is a long-range, electronic device used for mobile voice or data communication over a network of specialized base station known as cell sites.
