Redmond High School is looking for qualified candidates for a Dean of Students position for the 2022-2023 school year. Building administrators will contact you if you are selected for an interview.
Lake Washington School District is seeking a highly qualified certificated educator to serve as a Dean of Students. The Dean of Students works under the direction of the principal. The successful candidate will provide support to the school administrative team in carrying out the school’s academic, social-emotional and behavioral program. The Dean of Students position requires knowledge of District procedures and policies, the ability to assume responsibility, and the ability to work effectively under pressure. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and is able to maintain confidentiality. The Dean of Students provides student and school supervision, communication to key stakeholders, and other school supports to ensure effective and efficient school operations.
Current Washington State teaching certificate (i.e. Continuing, Residency, or Professional)
Paid per teacher salary schedule, plus 21 extra paid days and staff chair 2 stipend. See LWEA salary schedule posted on website. Full benefit package available to employees working a minimum of 630 hours during the school year.

Background Check on Recommended Candidate: A reference check inquiry will also be made by Human Resources on recommended candidates. According to 1992 legislation ESHB 2518, all school employees with regularly scheduled unsupervised access to children are required to have a criminal background check, which includes fingerprints.
