FREE SCHOOL LEARNING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (SLMS) FOR LESS PRIVILEGED CHILDREN, YOUTH AND TEACHERS.
This Learning Portal (E-Portal) is about helping millions of less privileged people (especially the youth, secondary school students, uneducated adults, drop outs and children in Sub-Saharan Africa and around the world) get a very robust free online education at anywhere, any day and any time through this free School Learning Management System.
About 263 million children are out of school, according to data from the UNESCO Institute for Statistic (UIS). This includes 61 million children of primary school age, 60 million of lower secondary school age, and including the first ever estimate of those of upper secondary school age at 142 million. In addition to this, there are many in students that do not have textbooks for studies, to read, do homework and other educational tasks.
Children of Sub-Saharan Africa the most excluded – of all the regions, Sub-Saharan Africa has the highest rates of exclusion. Over a fifth of children between the ages of 6 – 11 are out of school, followed by a third of youth between the ages of 12 – 14. According to UIS data, almost 60% of youth between the ages of 15 – 17 are not in school and in addition to this, some of those in students do not have textbooks to study, do assignments, carry out projects or complete educational tasks
Girls still more likely than boys to never go to school – Girls are more likely than boys never to set foot in a classroom, despite all the efforts and progress made over the past two decades. According to UIS data, 15 million girls of primary school age will never get the chance to learn to read and write in primary school compared to about 10 million boys. Over half of these girls – 9 million live in Sub-Saharan Africa.
These findings are produced in a paper released jointly by the UNESCO Institution for Statistic and Global Education Monitoring (GEM) Report. The paper also reveals the vast challenges faced by the poorest children (uis.unesco.org/en/news/263-million-children-and youth-are-out-school).
With this large challenge in our various societies today, I decided to create and build a free online School Learning Management System called School Portal NG where every child has the full rights to learn and be educated without paying any fee. Don’t forget that they are still million of students that are in school but their parents can’t afford to buy textbooks or learning resources which also includes teachers too.
I developed this web-based electronic School Learning Management System for all for free. It will contain courses, lessons, notes, documentations, administrative works, courses delivery, online tests, online examinations, training programs, and subjects’ materials and over 20,000 courses or lessons for all kinds of learners.
You will agree with me that millions of parents strive so hard to pay for their children’s school fees and cannot afford to buy them textbooks or learning materials due the fact that the economy is hard in the developing countries and underdeveloped countries too. Even in some government schools if not all, where we have no school fees policy. Government still do not provide the children any free textbook or learning materials for their students.
Educators (teachers) in villages (rural areas) that do not have the privileges to attend quality educational seminars, workshops, training programs or receive better lessons to give their students in those villages (rural areas) can now have access to lessons from this Learning Portal for free from educators in the cities that have attended such training/seminars/workshops. Contents here will come from international qualified educators and national government-approved qualified teachers too that match national and international standards,
This school learning portal project will cover a wide range of courses/lessons such as sciences, arts, commercial courses, management courses, junior classes’ subjects, vocational courses, entrepreneur courses, algebra lessons, statistics, programming language, mathematics, languages, fisheries, painting and decoration, computer craft, and lots of other learning materials.
I have tried to develop it up to the stage it is now but more work still need to be done. So I am here to ask for your kindly support towards this project to give every child a free education through I.C.T. Let join hands together to train the less privileged children and other children in schools across globe.
If I can achieve this much alone, how much more can we achieve together! – A lot more.
Children and youth (learners) will benefit from this School Learning Management System (SLMS) in various ways such as:
1. Organizes e-learning in one location (place)
2. Provides unlimited access to learning contents
3. Reduces learning and development time
4. Keep teachers and children up to date
5. Integrate social learning experience, technology leverage for better learning.
6. Engaged learning also increases because the learners have greater control and freedom over their lessons, online assessment.
7. Supports contents in various formats such as text, video, audio, etc.
8. Access materials any time and from anywhere.
9. Reduce learning and development cost
And lots more.
Today, more people worldwide own a cell phone than a toothbrush, according to the Consumer Technology Association (www.cta.tech).
There are over 20 billion devices connected to the internet today – that’s 3 devices for every single person on the planet! Which also include the uneducated people.
91% of mobile workers/people use their personal downtime to check their smart phones, and more than 60% percent of them sleep with their smart phones. With these statistics at hand, we plan to use the web, internet and the learners’ smart phones or learners’ parents smart phones to provide free education through different online learning contents such texts, videos, images, graphics, audios, illustrations, etc to reach the learners in anywhere in the world and across the globe.
School Portal NG Android App on Google Play Store with text to speech feature for people with reading disabilities (e.g blind people, visual challenge children, physically challenge people, special children). We believe that everyone has equal rights to free education.
In January 2019, 4.4 billion people were active internet users. Mobile internet has grown 504% in daily media consumption since 2011. School Portal NG will reach out to millions of learners through their mobile smart phones and PCs.
School Portal NG will reach out to the children, youth and people through all means and channels which includes mobile web, android app, apple app, desktop browsers, desktop app, flyers, banners, booklets, free give away books and even java enabled phones.

Widening access to education is a key method in reducing global poverty.
One of the first steps in overcoming poverty is receiving education.
With more education, one has more opportunities in life.
Gender inequality in education is predominantly seen among the poor.
Let provide the children and youths with free education that can be accessed anywhere, anytime and any day.
Your support will provide for millions of less privileged children’s education and other people’s education too. Our kids might end up using this School Portal NG for their home works or assignments or even learn more to be knowledgeable since it can be accessible to them for free from anywhere.
Please support this work by donating towards this project
